Happiness begets happiness.

People are surprised they have to work on happiness. This work can include meditation, exercise and maintaining relationships, behaviors that researchers have now proven can make us feel better. When we're bolstered by the positive-a friend or a happy tune or, a heartfelt commitment to optimist- our perceptions are more positive, enabling us to believe that life, even when it's difficult, is essentially good. In short, happiness begets happiness.
